Prosecutor’s Office initiates investigation into train crash on Line 3 of the Mexico City Metro

The Mexico City Prosecutor’s Office reported the initiation of an investigation into the collision on Saturday of two trains in the tunnel between the La Raza and Potrero stations of Metro Line 3 that left at least one dead and 16 injured. according to the official report at 11:20 in the morning.

The Secretary of Citizen Security of Mexico City, Omar García Harfuch, reported that the accident registered on the morning of this Saturday, January 7, was a rear-end collision. He said that it will be the experts who will define what happened.

The Mexico City Attorney General’s Office announced that it had initiated an investigation folder.
