AstraZeneca, in a plot to lower the average age of its workforce, engaged in discrimination when it fired personnel who refused COVID-19 vaccines due to the fact of spiritual motives, a federal lawsuit submitted by 7 previous staff of the pharmaceutical corporation reported.
The fired staff cited a 2021 presentation by an AstraZeneca director of income in which he claimed the company’s ordinary staff age was about 48 and indicated that was “much too large.” The former employees, all around the age of 40, ended up among as many as 200 men and women fired the next 12 months after professing spiritual exemptions from vaccination.
