Florian lowered its value in Mexico

Three days before French striker Florian Thauvin turns 30, Tigres thanked him for his one and a half year stay. The MX League did not serve as a platform to reassess his career, nor was it to improve the sporting level.

According to Mexican media, the royal club paid him an annual salary of 5.5 million dollars, a figure that calls into question if he was worth it with the total balance of: 38 games, 8 goals, 5 assists and 2 expulsions. His presence in Liga MX was even so concrete that you can count on your fingers the clubs for whom he scored goals: two against León and one against Cruz Azul, Chivas, FC Juárez, Rayados, Querétaro and Toluca.

“Club Tigres informs that the decision has been made to terminate the employment relationship with the player, Florian Tristán Mariano Thauvin,” the statement said.
