Samuel García gave the starting signal to 142 new urban trucks

Monterrey, NL. The Governor of Nuevo León, Samuel García Sepúlveda gave the flag to 142 new trucks based on gas and announced that the state administration will have a fleet of 1,600 new urban trucks this year, which will be in charge of its administration and will provide service according to supply and demand.

“It will be a single card with which citizens will be able to pay for the metro, transmetro and urban trucks starting in February, in a year an application for cell phones will be ready. We were very behind, the government had fallen behind,” he specified.

As will be remembered, at the beginning of his government, the president commented that among the “quarrels” left by the previous administration were the metro, the Ecovía and urban transport, and that they would request lease more than 800 trucks based on natural gas.

To decide which routes these trucks will serve, it will be done under a technical criterion, and they will be sent to where it is most urgent.

“In February they will notice a change, another 300 trucks will arrive and the section of line 2 will be ready, so that transportation to the University can be expedited. Currently there are 100 trucks that are supplying the subway stations that are going to repair”, he delved.

He said that the delay in the delivery of trucks is due to the disruption of supply chains and a lack of semiconductors.

Samuel García stressed that the acquisition of these units is by lease and will be paid with the ticketing.
