A crimson panda climbed a tree and escaped his San Diego Zoo habitat over the weekend but was captured several hours afterwards and returned to his home.
Adira, a 2-yr-outdated pink panda, used her climbing capabilities to scale a tree into a neighboring enclosure, San Diego Zoo officials told area outlet CBS 8.

Fortson, who claimed she’s been a zoo go holder for four years, reported zoo officials finally captured the panda and returned it to its home.
She also explained she wasn’t shocked the panda escaped.
“I usually thought ‘If they desired to get out they completely could,’… but never ever imagined we’d basically see it,” Fortson said. “It was amazing looking at her determine out how to get back down — they are so significantly smarter than we feel!”
