CDMX presents an agreement to trigger research and specialized human talent

In the midst of a scenario where more human talent is currently needed in terms of innovation y industrial technological developmentthe Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Agreement was made in Mexico City.

During the presentation, the head of Government of Mexico CityClaudia Sheinbaum Pardo, explained that for this new project the IPNto the public universities of the city, such as the Rosario Castellanos Institute.

According to the initiative, it is intended to take advantage of the current context, where nearshoring stands out, and where the city wants to have the best professionals to meet the new labor needs in industrial, scientific and research matters.

The CEO of the IPNArturo Reyes, said that the first part of the agreement aims for the research staff to carry out joint projects, the second point is to generate mobility between students and third, to generate greater gender parity, that more women participate in the science.

The Secretary of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (SECTEI), Rosaura Ruiz Gutiérrez, highlighted that in addition to this agreement, the city currently works with four axes: implementing social programs to guarantee the right to basic education; expand and strengthen coverage in upper secondary education and higher education; attend to the educational gap through the Points of Innovation, Freedom, Art, Education and Knowledge (PILARES); and apply science, humanities and technology to the problems of Mexico City.

“I would like to remember that education is, essentially, a legacy, the most powerful tool available to every human being to win their freedom and forge their future,” he said.

The owner of the IPN He also said that this is not the first time that an alliance has been made in terms of development, since in previous years agreements were made with the Collective Transport System and the Vallejo industrial zone, through the Vallejo-i Project.
