AMLO asks Gertz Manero that there be no impunity after the death of 39 migrants in a fire

President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador affirmed this Thursday that he spoke with the Attorney General of the Republic, Alexander Gertz Mannerto request that there be no impunity and that there be justice in the case of the fire, at the National Institute of Migration Station, in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, which caused the death of 39 migrants.

“I spoke with the prosecutor (Alejandro Gertz Manero) to ask him not to have any kind of consideration, rather than to do justice. That they (the Attorney General of the Republic) act with professionalism, absolute freedom and that impunity be ruled out. Let there be no impunity, let there be justice, ”he said.

The first president affirmed, in his morning conferencewho does not want to get involved in giving details of the case because, since the investigation is open, he does not want to disclose data or alleged facts of everything that is happening and that this be used so that those responsible can shelter and protect themselves.

On the other hand, he expressed his condolences and commented that what happened is a very painful event. He also affirmed that there will be no impunity and those responsible will be punished. He indicated that everyone will wait for the result of the investigation and assured that the Prosecutor’s Office is the one who will initiate the corresponding judicial processes.

AMLO said that today at 3:00 p.m., there will be a press conference with the Secretary of Public Security, Rosa Icela Rodriguezand it will report on the punishment of those allegedly responsible for these unfortunate events.
