U.S. Virgin Islands Lawyer Standard Denise George has subpoenaed Alphabet Inc’s (NASDAQ: GOOGL) Google co-founder Sergey Brin and a few other billionaires in a civil lawsuit concerning JPMorgan Chase & Co’s (NYSE: JPM) hyperlinks to Jeffrey Epstein, reports The Wall Road Journal.
George filed a lawsuit accusing JPMorgan Chase & Co (NYSE: JPM) of facilitating Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking scheme and aiding him to deal with it up. The lawsuit claims that human trafficking was the principal business of Epstein’s accounts at the financial institution. It also alleges that JPMorgan obtained referrals of significant-benefit business alternatives from Epstein.
According to the report, the lawyer common requested Brin, along with Hyatt Lodges Corporation (NYSE: H) executive chairman Thomas Pritzker, authentic estate trader Mortimer Zuckerman and former Walt Disney Co (NYSE: DIS) executive Michael Ovitz for communications and documents related to Epstein and the lender.

The Wall Avenue Journal earlier reported that JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon would response thoughts in the lawsuit.
Attorneys have questioned a number of JPMorgan workers in the case and an additional filed by an unnamed woman who had accused Epstein of sexual abuse. The concerns are running simultaneously in Manhattan federal courtroom.
Meanwhile, JPMorgan has denied wrongdoing and has argued that it didn’t know about Epstein’s actions.
Epstein was indicted and imprisoned in July 2019 on federal prices of working a sexual intercourse trafficking ring. He was uncovered dead in a jail mobile in New York the very same year.
In 2020, Virgin Islands prosecutors alleged that Epstein had introduced women as young as 11 to the islands, and he and his associates sexually assaulted them.
