Berlin, Apr 5 (.).- The euro remained above $1.09 on Wednesday despite losing some momentum towards the end of the afternoon.
The euro was trading around 1500 GMT at $1.0910 versus $1.0970 in late European currency market trading on Tuesday.
The European Central Bank (ECB) set the reference exchange rate for the euro at $1.0940.
The single currency was exchanged in a fluctuation band between 1,090 and 1,097 dollars.
