Beijing, Apr 7 (.).- Chinese foreign exchange reserves grew 1.62% month-on-month in March to 3.18 trillion dollars, the Asian country’s State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE) reported today.
The growth with respect to the final figure for February was 50.700 million dollars, the institution indicated on its website, which specified that this evolution was due to the fall in and the general increase in the prices of global financial assets.
Looking ahead, SAFE says that the “overall stability” of the national foreign exchange reserves will be maintained thanks to the “great development potential” and “solid foundation” of the Chinese economy.
