Kailyn Lowry is receiving substantial backlash from her social media followers after posting a video of herself and son Lincoln, nine, playing a game of ‘smash or pass.’
In the footage, the reality star’s little boy, who she shares with her ex-husband, Javi Marroquin, can be seen showing his mother pictures of several different NBA stars to see which she finds attractive.
To his surprise, she passes on the majority, despite Lincoln’s prediction that she was ‘gonna say smash’ to most.
‘I guess I was wrong,’ he tells her while sharing a booth in a crowded restaurant.
Despite the Teen Mom alum, 31, providing a disclaimer that her ‘son thinks smash means cute,’ many of her followers found the game to be inappropriate since it is also a slang word for sex.

In response to one comment expressing outrage that she played this game with her child, Lowry replied: ‘See the disclaimers, don’t be a Karen.’
Still another wrote: ‘Most mothers play Candy Land with their 9-year-olds… not smash or pass lol.’
A third pointed out it will be not be ‘sh**s and giggles when he goes to school and says he would smash a girl that he think is cute.’
In November, the Pride Over Pity author reportedly welcomed a fifth child with her boyfriend Elijah Scott.
While she has yet to reveal the name of her baby boy, Lowry is also the mom to her 13-year-old son Isaac Elliot, from her past relationship with Jonathan Rivera, as well as her five-year-old Lux and Creed, two, with ex Chris Lopez.
Last month, Lowry joked that her eldest told her to ‘use a condom’ so she doesn’t become pregnant again during an episode of her Coffee Convos podcast.
While discussing the topic of ‘kid problems’ with co-host, Lindsie Chrisley, the TV personality recalled that she had left out a few intimate items on a counter in their kitchen, which her teen had some across.
‘They’re sex toys, and Isaac is not dumb,’ the 16 & Pregnant star recalled, ‘So he saw the sex toys in a box on the counter, and I woke up to a Post-It note on my door…’

Kailyn revealed her oldest child had written, ‘Put your keychains away and don’t leave them on the counter’ – I don’t even know why he called them that. On the next door, the next [note] said, ‘Use a condom before you end up with yet another kid.’
Lowry welcomed Isaac to the world back in 2010, and shares her son with Rivera. The two made an appearance on the second season of 16 & Pregnant, but later split, resulting in a custody battle.
However, while talking to People earlier this in February, the podcast host stated that both she and Rivera have since maintained a healthy co-parenting relationship.
‘Surprisingly enough, after everything we went through, Jo has been a really big support system for me, especially now that I work with his wife in the podcasting space.’ Jo welcomed a daughter named, Vivi, in 2015, with his wife, Vee Torres.
‘He’s cheering for both of us. So, it’s been really, really nice,’ Kailyn further informed the outlet.

‘Kailyn gave birth to a baby boy on November 20 with Elijah. She has only told close family and friends,’ a source told The Sun earlier this year in February.
Fans had also speculated that the media personality, who currently boasts 4.4 Instagram followers, had welcomed her fifth child with her live-in boyfriend due to clues from social media.
Last year in July, her ex, Chris, who has a rocky co-parenting relationship with Kailyn, had jumped to Twitter and typed out in a since-deleted tweet, ‘Out here talking bout you’ll beat me up now you know you gotta protect the belly stop it.’
Along with raising her children, Kailyn also appeared on Teen Mom 2, but left the reality series in May 2022.

‘I think this needs to be my farewell. I think I’m ready. I think that we should part ways. I think this should be the end,’ the TV personality concluded.
Since her departure, Lowry has kept herself busy by running not just one, but three podcasts of her own: Coffee Convos, Barely Famous, and also Baby Mamas No Drama With Vee Rivera.
While opening up to People earlier this year in February, Kailyn explained that, ‘I really wanted to focus on making a name for myself outside of TV, and I wanted to be recognized for something other than Teen Mom.’
‘So, people really did have a hard time accepting me for anything other than being a teen mom. I think that was one of the bigger challenges for me.’
In regards to if she would ever consider jumping back into the world of reality television, the podcast host admitted that she wouldn’t necessarily step away from the realm infinitely.
‘I do think that I have proved that I have the capability to be on a reality show and be interesting enough for people to watch,’ and added that she thought viewers would be ‘very interested’ to see the ‘behind the scenes of podcasting, especially when it is really saturated and people don’t like each other.’
‘There’s a lot of cattiness that people don’t realize, and so I think that would be a really interesting show.’
