A lady is in custody soon after point out officials said she may possibly have unintentionally established a dumpster on hearth at Texas Attorney Normal Ken Paxton‘s office’s this week.
The suspect, a 42-calendar year-aged girl, was arrested by Texas Division of General public Protection officials, Paxton’s workplace tweeted Thursday.
Paxton’s business mentioned the girl was caught on online video discarding what appeared to be a lit cigarette in a waste receptacle on Wednesday night.
“DPS questioned the suspect around feasible political motivations for this crime and have preliminarily determined the hearth was accidental,” Paxton unveiled in a statement online. “The employees who do the job in this developing could have been injured or killed if this fire had not been detected early.”
