Bob Myers is stepping down as the president and general manager of the Golden State Warriors, he told ESPN.
‘It’s just time,’ said the 48-year-old.
Myers was the architect of the Warriors four titles since 2015 and has twice won NBA Executive of the Year.
The 6-foot-7 former UCLA forward previously worked as an NBA player agent, representing the likes of Brook Lopez, before joining Golden State in 2011.
Myers did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com’s text message, requesting confirmation.

Myers’s contract expires in late June and according to ESPN, he has declined Warriors owners’ offers that would have made him one of the league’s top-paid executives.
He plans to discuss future with reporters at a news conference at 4pm EST on Tuesday in San Francisco.
Myers actually grew up in the Bay Area rooting for the Warriors before going on to play at UCLA.
After winning a national championship under Jim Harrick in 1995 and graduating in 1997, Myers took an internship with famed sports agent Arn Tellem while pursuing a law degree at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.

Myers would spend 15 years as an agent, representing the likes of Brandon Roy and Tyreke Evans, while negotiating contracts valued at more than $575 million.
But in 2011, he got an offer he couldn’t refuse: The Warriors wanted to make him assistant GM with an eye towards replacing long-time executive Larry Riley soon thereafter.
Myers inherited a team that already had a backcourt of two budding stars in Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, but soon added key players like Draymond Green, Harrison barnes and Festus Ezeli in the draft.
He replaced head coach Mark Jackson with Steve Kerr, traded for Andre Iguodala and added Shaun Livingston to set Golden State up for its 2015 title while winning his first Executive of the Year award.

Myers would win the honor again in 2017 after signing Kevin Durant, David West, Zaza Pachulia, and JaVale McGee to a team that would win two more titles before another reconstruction.
Even when age and injury prevented the Warriors from reaching the postseason in 2020 and 2021, Myers still found a way to reload in 2022, adding Andrew Wiggins to a team that would ultimately win another title.
The 2023 Warriors season came to an end in the conference semis with a loss to the rival Lakers.
During his tenure with the Warriors, Myers and his wife became visible residents of San Francisco’s Presidio Heights neighborhood, where the couple lives with their three daughters. Myers’ home is known by local residents for its elaborate Halloween displays, and he even rented a taco truck one year to help feed hungry neighbors as they went trick-or-treating with their children.
