Miami Heat’s mascot was HOSPITALIZED by Conor McGregor after the UFC legend made his presence known with a brutal left hook at Game 4 of the NBA Finals.
The former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion was appearing midcourt to promote his cryotherapy pain relief spray before ‘Burnie’ approached McGregor wearing oversized boxing gloves.Â
In what was evidently a campaign stunt, McGregor delivered a stinging hook before adding one more punch for good measure as Burnie lay on his back.Â
The mascot was then pulled away but not before McGregor sprayed some of his TIDL Sport product on him.Â
Incredibly, The Athletic later reported that the mascot was subsequently taken to the emergency room of a nearby hospital, as he required treatment for his injuries.

The Irishman was seen sharing a laugh with Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.
According to a league source, it is reported that the man was given pain medication by doctors, and has since been sent home and is doing well.Â
‘Get Burnie out, put that TIDL on him,’ the Heat’s in-stadium presenter said as the Irishman carried out his punch.Â
McGregor was one of several celebrities present at Kaseya Center, sporting a shiny red tracksuit.Â
Baltimore Ravens wideout Odell Beckham Jr., soccer stars Neymar, Vinicius Jr. and Paul Pogba were present – in addition to music artists Lil Wayne, G-Eazy, J Balvin and Flo Rida.Â

Murray provided 12 assists to go along with 15 points, and Denver survived a five-plus minute stretch without their star man Jokic in the fourth quarter after he picked up a fifth foul.
McGregor has been filming the latest series of The Ultimate Fighter alongside Michael Chandler – who he is poised to fight this year – with the pair pitting their wits against one another as coaches on the reality competition.Â
