(CNN) — There finally seems to be evidence that Jamie Foxx is on the mend.
In a video published by TMZ, Foxx is seen sailing the Chicago River this Sunday afternoon and looking healthy, while greeting a group of boaters who applaud him.
The Oscar-winning actor later tweeted to provide his bourbon, writing: “Life on the boat 🦊Celebrating summer with @brownsugarbbn Stay blessed!”

CNN has contacted Foxx’s representatives for comment.
Since April, the actor has been recovering from an undisclosed medical complication, according to his daughter, Corinne Foxx. The star was in Atlanta for work at the time.
No further information on the incident was provided.
In May, a source with knowledge of the situation told CNN that Foxx was receiving medical treatment at a Chicago physical rehabilitation center.
That same month, his daughter disputed press reports that her father was unwell. “It’s sad to see the media lose control,” she wrote on social media.
“My dad got out of the hospital weeks ago, and he’s on the mend,” Corinne Foxx wrote. “Actually, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support! We also have an exciting job announcement next week!”
He then announced that he would host a new music-focused trivia contest titled “We Are Family,” in which non-celebrity relatives of celebrities would “perform duets with their hidden famous relative” while the audience tries to guess the star’s identity.
No date is yet known for the show’s premiere. Foxx and his daughter have already worked together on the game show “Beat Shazam.”
John Boyega, Foxx’s co-star in “They Cloned Tyrone,” spoke to the magazine People recently at the film’s premiere and said she finally heard from Foxx after trying to contact him.
“Okay,” Boyega said. “And so, you know, we just give him privacy, and we can’t wait for him to come back.”
Co-producer Datari Turner confirmed what Boyega said.
“He’s doing great. I promise. He’s doing very, very, well,” Turner said. “[El director] Christmas [Taylor] spoke to him yesterday. John Boyega spoke to him yesterday. He is in very, very good shape and in a good mood. And he will return to the screen. He will be back to work very soon,” he noted.
Although he has not been seen publicly since his medical incident, there are some verified social media posts of Foxx, including one in which he thanked his followers for their well wishes.
