Tens of thousands demonstrated in the capital, London, carrying Palestinian flags, calling on the international community to intervene immediately to establish a ceasefire and save the people of Gaza from the ongoing Israeli bombing.
Other marches were also held elsewhere in the UK, including Manchester and Glasgow.
The Metropolitan Police had warned that officers were expected to intervene if demonstrators used the word “jihad” in chants.

France
French media outlets and local accounts circulated video clips showing the French police being on alert in Place du Chatelet in the capital, Paris, to prevent demonstrators in solidarity with Palestine from reaching it, after previous calls to hold a demonstration in solidarity with Gaza and against the Israeli occupation.
The scenes show that dozens of demonstrators have already arrived at the square to express their solidarity with Palestine against the crimes of the Israeli occupation.
Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported that the associations that called for organizing a demonstration today, Saturday, to demand an end to the aggression against Gaza, announced that the judiciary did not permit them to demonstrate in Paris.
These associations revealed that this morning they appealed the authorities’ decision to ban the demonstration, but the Paris Administrative Court upheld the ban.
Germany
Hundreds of activists and members of the Arab and Islamic communities demonstrated this afternoon in the city of Dortmund, rejecting the Israeli aggression and the massacres it is committing against the Palestinians.
Finland
Dozens of activists participated in demonstrations in support of the Palestinians today in the capital, Helsinki, expressing their rejection of the Israeli massacres and attacks on the Gaza Strip.
Sweden
Dozens demonstrated this morning in the Swedish city of Hassleholm, chanting slogans denouncing the weak official Arab position, in support of the Palestinians, and in rejection of the Israeli massacres.
Bosnia
The city of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina witnessed a demonstration in support of the Palestinian people and denouncing the Israeli attacks on Gaza.
Thousands of people gathered in Musala Square, chanting slogans showing solidarity with the Palestinian people. Such as: “Free Palestine” and “Gaza is not alone.” They also raised Palestinian flags and banners bearing the phrases: Such as: “Mostar with Palestine,” and “Protect Palestine.”
Kosovo
Today, the non-governmental Association for Feminist Thought and Action organized a march in solidarity with the Palestinian people in the capital, Pristina.
About 100 people, most of them women, participated in the march. They walked towards the city’s main square and chanted slogans denouncing the Israeli attacks against the Palestinians.
New Zealand
Hundreds of people went out in several New Zealand cities today, in solidarity demonstrations with Palestine, denouncing the crimes of the Israeli occupation against Gaza.
A number of residents of the city of Hamilton came out to express their solidarity and rejection of the Israeli crimes against Gaza, including the killing of children and the bombing of hospitals.
In Auckland, some demonstrators performed the traditional “Haka” dance, which expresses war and defiance, in solidarity with the Gaza Strip. Hundreds also gathered in the cities of Dundon and Wellington to express their solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Thousands of demonstrators gathered in front of the American embassy in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, to support Palestine and the people of Gaza against the crimes of the Israeli occupation.
The demonstrators chanted anti-Israel slogans, and carried banners denouncing the killing of children and women in Gaza, and showing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the form of a “vampire.”

Kyrgyzstan
The Kyrgyz capital, Bishkek, witnessed a demonstration in support of the Gaza Strip and condemning the Israeli attacks on the Strip.
Dozens of people gathered in Bishkek Park to show support for the people of Gaza, raising banners reading “No to genocide,” “Freedom for Palestine,” and “Curse Israel.”
They also raised the flags of Kyrgyzstan and Palestine and chanted slogans expressing their solidarity with Gaza.
Tunisia
Hundreds of Tunisians demonstrated in the streets of Sfax today, denouncing the Israeli massacres in Gaza, raising Palestinian flags, and demanding that the Egyptian authorities open the Rafah crossing for humanitarian aid to enter.
Lebanon
Hundreds of students from Burj Al-Shamali Palestinian refugee camp in Tire, Lebanon, went out in a solidarity demonstration with Gaza denouncing the crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Strip.
