Israeli aircraft once again launched night bombing on the vicinity of a number of hospitals in the Gaza Strip, according to what medical sources reported to the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa).
The agency said that Israeli aircraft targeted homes in the vicinity of the Indonesian Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, and other homes in the vicinity of the Al-Quds Hospital affiliated with the Red Crescent Society, west of Gaza City, in the vicinity of the Gaza European Hospital in the southern Gaza Strip, and in the vicinity of the Turkish Friendship Hospital.
She added that Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip is witnessing frequent power outages due to the exhaustion of fuel needed to operate the generators.
Earlier, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the third and last floor of the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital was bombed by Israeli aircraft, resulting in severe damage.
The Ministry said that 34% of Gaza’s hospitals are not working, and 65% of primary health care centers are closed, while 124 health personnel were martyred, more than 100 were injured, and 50 ambulances were damaged, including 25 that were completely out of work, and 12 of them were closed. 35 hospitals in the sector.
Also, 46 out of 72 health care centers stopped working as a result of the bombing and the depletion of fuel.
The Ministry said that the occupation requested 24 hospitals to evacuate in the northern Gaza Strip, and the total capacity of these hospitals is two thousand beds.
She pointed to the severe shortage of medicines, equipment, and personnel needed to treat large numbers of wounded, in addition to the sharp decrease in fuel needed to operate electricity, as surgical operations are performed without anesthesia and by the light of telephones.
For 25 days, the Israeli army has launched intensive raids on residential neighborhoods in Gaza, killing more than 8,306 people – including 3,457 children – and wounding about 21,048 Palestinians, according to official data.
In the West Bank, 122 Palestinians have been martyred since October 7, and the Israeli army is launching a massive arrest campaign that has affected about two thousand Palestinians, according to official Palestinian sources.
