Quran reading initiative
The personal experience that Megan lived made her think about spreading it by launching an initiative via “Tik Tok” to read the Qur’an and exchange impressions and experiences regarding it.
For this purpose, she established a book club specializing in religions, and stressed that the beginning would be by reading the Qur’an and trying to understand it, then followed by sacred books of other religions. The aim of this is to create a space to try to understand others away from prejudices.
Megan stressed that what she is most proud of in this newly established club is that many wrong prejudices are being corrected there.

Alex, an active young woman on TikTok, began reading the Qur’an and sharing clips of it after the aggression on Gaza. Before that, she had previously posted regular clips about eating, drinking, and dancing.
Alex’s page posts changed on October 17, when she published a video clip in which she expressed her support for Palestine, accompanied by the clip “I Am My Blood is Palestinian” by Palestinian singer Muhammad Assaf.
