Two Israeli settlers were injured by gunfire on Thursday morning Nablus North West Bank Occupied forces, and violent clashes broke out between resistance fighters and occupation forces at the entrance to the city Embryo.
According to Israeli sources, the attackers opened fire from a close range at a vehicle carrying settlers near the Itamar settlement, southeast of Nablus.
The sources added that the perpetrators were able to withdraw from the scene, while the Israeli occupation forces launched extensive searches near Nablus in search of them.
In this context, violent confrontations broke out between Palestinian youths and the occupation forces in the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus.
In the city of Jenin, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the city and its camp, carried out sweeping operations in the streets, and deployed snipers on the roofs of houses.
Violent clashes took place between Palestinian resistance fighters and the occupation forces, and Palestinian media reported that the fighters were able to detonate an explosive device while confronting the Israeli forces.
The resistance factions in the city of Jenin also announced that they targeted occupation vehicles with explosive devices and bullets at the entrance to the camp.
The escalation in the West Bank continues in light of the issuance of government reports in Israel talking about a possible explosion of the situation in the West Bank.
Confrontations and arrests
Yesterday, Wednesday, dozens of Palestinians were shot and others were arrested in new Israeli incursions into the West Bank, including clashes with resistance fighters.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said that 61 Palestinians were injured in confrontations with the occupation forces in the city of Bethlehem, including 7 with live bullets.
Palestinian media reported that the injuries occurred during confrontations with an Israeli force that surrounded the home of freed prisoner Hamdi Al-Kamil in Bethlehem.
Yesterday, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation forces carried out new incursions into Bethlehem, the suburbs of occupied Jerusalem, Ramallah, Hebron, Qalqilya, Tubas, Nablus, Jenin, and Tulkarm.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club said that the occupation forces arrested 65 Palestinians during the new incursions.
Since the start of the war on Gaza, Israeli attacks in the West Bank have left 163 Palestinian martyrs, according to a statement by the Palestinian Ministry of Health the day before Tuesday, and the number of arrests has risen to more than 2,280 Palestinian detainees.
