The Second Bar Association in the Turkish capital, Ankara, announced its intention to file a judicial complaint with… International Criminal Court In the Netherlands regarding “Israeli crimes in Palestine.”
Sabri Khafif, head of the union, said during an event in Ankara yesterday, Sunday, that “thousands of Palestinians, led by children and women, fell victim to the Israeli attacks on Gaza.”
Khafif described the Israeli attacks on civilians in Gaza as “genocide.”
He also criticized the international community’s “silence regarding human rights violations” against the Palestinians.
He stressed that the union will file a lawsuit with the International Criminal Court “in the context of standing up to these Israeli attacks.”
He continued: “Crimes are being committed in Gaza in full view of the world.”
He expressed his hope that the International Criminal Court would respond to their complaints and move to prosecute those responsible for the Israeli attacks on Gaza.
