This came in a statement through the network’s account on the X platform, regarding the kidnapping of Abu Salima and the hospital’s medical staff by the Israeli army.
“We are deeply concerned by reports that the World Health Organization may have unintentionally or intentionally facilitated Israel’s kidnapping of senior medical staff at Al-Shifa Hospital,” the statement said.
The statement indicated that the World Health Organization pledged a safe evacuation of medical personnel and patients to southern Gaza in coordination with Israel, but the Israeli army stopped the convoy and kidnapped some people.

The statement called for an immediate investigation into the incident.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced the suspension of coordination with the World Health Organization in evacuating patients and medical personnel from hospitals in the Strip after the Israeli army detained health employees.
Storming, occupation and withdrawal
The Israeli occupation army stormed the Shifa complex on November 14, after besieging it for several days.
After several days, the army asked those in the hospital to evacuate it on foot, but a number of the wounded and sick were unable to leave due to their conditions, and some doctors and hospital workers were forced to stay with them.
During the past few days, the army carried out extensive sweeping, searching and combing operations inside the hospital’s departments and buildings, its garden and its parking lot, which resulted in the martyrdom of a number of displaced and wounded people inside, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
Earlier Friday, the Israeli army withdrew from the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, without providing evidence for its claims that Hamas was establishing a command and control center inside a tunnel under the complex.
The withdrawal process comes hours after the temporary humanitarian truce between Israel and the resistance took effect.
The humanitarian truce agreement includes a 4-day ceasefire and the release of 50 Israeli prisoners from Gaza in exchange for the release of 150 Palestinians from Israeli prisons, and the entry of hundreds of trucks loaded with humanitarian, relief, medical and fuel aid to all areas of the Strip.
