A goalless draw prevailed over the confrontation between Al-Ahly of Egypt and its guest, CS Belouizdad of Algeria, today, Friday, in the third round of the fourth group of the African Football Champions League.
Al-Ahly raised its score to five points at the top of the group, one point ahead of Chabab Belouizdad, which is in second place.
In another match in the same round, Tanzania’s Young Africans tied with Ghana’s host Medeama 1-1.
Medeama took the lead through Jonathan Souah in the 27th minute, before Bakomi Zozwa equalized for Yang Africans in the 36th minute.
Medeama raised its score to 4 points in third place, on goal difference behind CR Belouizdad, while Young Africans occupies fourth and last place with two points.
