Harvard University’s Board of Regents announced its support for University President Claudine Gay after calls for her resignation for what was described as her mismanagement of testimony she gave in Congress regarding what was described as the rise of anti-Semitism on campuses.
This decision coincided with pressure on American universities to prevent pro-Palestinian demonstrations on the pretext that they are anti-Semitic.
