Military expert Major General Fayez Al-Duwairi said that the battle is currently taking place in the northern part of Al-Shuja’iya neighborhood Left and right of Baghdad Street and at limited distances according to satellite images, confirming that the actual battle has not yet begun.
Al-Duwairi explained that what is currently happening in Shujaiya is the beginnings of the battle because the main weight of the resistance has not yet engaged in the fighting, indicating that the fighting is still within the scope of operations of a specific part of the fighters.
According to the military expert, the Shuja’iya Battalion is considered a striking force alongside the Al-Tuffah Force, and is responsible for a specific geographical scope, and is expected to attack from any area at any time because the distribution of forces is linked to the nature of the mission.
Accordingly, Al-Duwairi says, only the forces present in the northern part of Shuja’iya are currently fighting, and in a soft area that does not exceed 1,800 meters in length and 600 meters in width. However, the Israeli forces are still failing to achieve victory there and have fallen into a complex ambush. 3 times.
The military expert believes that “what we see in the northern part of Shujaiya is a miniature picture of what is happening in Gaza strip As a whole, it is a picture that reveals the lack of credibility of the numbers announced by the Israeli army regarding the dead and wounded, nor of its success in controlling and pushing some resistance fighters to surrender, as its military spokesman says.
However, the battle is not easy for both sides, Al-Duwairi says, but the data indicate that the Shujaiya Battalion is performing better than expected.
Regarding Israel launching 500 raids on the Gaza Strip within one week, Al-Duwairi said that it is expected because the occupation’s losses are large, and the leaders justify their failure by a lack of support fire in light of the battles taking place from zero distance, out of fear for their fighters, and thus the occupation is trying to compensate for its losses by destroying other areas.
