Al Jazeera Network decided to refer the case of the assassination of its photographer Colleague Samer Abu Daqqa urgently to the International Criminal Court.
She said in a statement that she had formed a group that included a team from the network and legal experts to prepare the Abu Daqqa assassination file to submit to the criminal court. She added that the legal file will include repeated attacks on network crews working in the Palestinian territories.
Abu Daqqa’s body was carried by members of his family, colleagues and loved ones on Saturday to his final resting place in Khan Yunis, south of… Gaza strip.
On Friday, the occupation bombed the Al Jazeera team in Khan Yunis, which led to the death of photographer Abu Daqqa and the wounding of fellow correspondent Wael Al-Dahdouh.
The occupation prevented the ambulance from reaching Samer Abu Daqqa, where he remained bleeding for hours before becoming a martyr.
It is noteworthy that our colleague Wael Al-Dahdouh lost his wife and some of his children in a bombing launched by the Israeli occupation on the family home last October.
