This Monday morning, our colleague Abdullah Alwan, the voice commentator for the Maidan page affiliated with the website, was martyred Al Jazeera NetAs a result of an Israeli occupation bombing that targeted his family’s home in the town of Jabalia, north of Gaza strip.
Alwan joined the “Meydan” team since its founding in 2017, and the voice of the martyred colleague had a distinctive imprint on followers of the video clips produced during the past years. He also contributed to the audio commentary on a number of episodes for Al Jazeera.
The Al Jazeera Net team mourns our colleague Abdullah and all the martyrs who were targeted by the Israeli occupation during its aggression against the Gaza Strip.
