Company announced Microsoft It has provided its users with the ability to create music and compose songs based on artificial intelligence, thanks to the integration of the “Suno” tool into its “Copilot” smart assistant, which it provided with its “Edge” browser.
The tool allows users to generate entire songs including lyrics, melodies and sounds when the user enters a text command into the AI assistant Copilot in Windows.
Copilot users can activate the Suno tool by launching the Edge browser, then going to (Copilot.Microsoft.com) and logging in using a Microsoft account, then activating the Suno add-on by clicking on it.
Microsoft stated in a post on its official website, commenting on the integration of the Sono tool, that this partnership will open new horizons for creativity and fun, making music creation accessible to everyone.
Major companies and startups are investing extensively in generating music with artificial intelligence, as Google has partnered with Lyra and Dream Track to create music and ringtones on YouTube, and Google itself is developing its own model.
Meta Company had previously introduced the “AudioGen” and “MusicGen” models for generating sounds and music based on artificial intelligence, and OpenAI also has a similar project called “Joke Box.” (JukeBox).
All sound and music generation models are trained on materials available on the Internet, even if they are protected by copyright, and then artificial intelligence algorithms learn from them and try to emulate them. The outputs of artificial intelligence tools and their working mechanisms are still the subject of widespread controversy in the absence of clear laws and binding and regulating legislation for them. .
