The leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement said, agitation) Osama Hamdan said that there are no confirmations regarding the occupation’s talk about the Philadelphia axis between the Gaza Strip and Sinai, describing the matter as “a psychological war and an attempt to delude people that Egypt is cooperating with Israel.”
Hamdan confirmed – in a press conference from Beirut today, Saturday – that the occupation failed to achieve any of the goals of its war on the Gaza Strip, and that there is no talk of exchanging prisoners before stopping the Israeli aggression completely and not temporarily.
He also said that the Hamas leadership is striving to stop the aggression completely and not temporarily, confirming what the Brigades announced Izz al-Din al-Qassam – The military wing of Hamas – regarding the loss of contact with a group that is caring for 5 Israelis, including the 3 who demanded that Netanyahu a few days ago work to return them to their homes before they grow old in captivity.
Hamdan added that Hamas wants to return the Israeli prisoners and restore the Palestinian prisoners, while the government Benjamin Netanyahu You don’t want that, stressing that the strategy to defeat Hamas has “completely collapsed.”
The Palestinian leader pointed out that Hamas is currently stronger than it was, and that more than half of the number of Israeli deaths recognized by the occupation army were killed after the end of the temporary truce.
He continued, “The Israeli army is sinking more and more in Gaza, and the end of Netanyahu’s government is around the corner after its officers began to flee the war.”
Hold responsibility
Hamdan said that arming thousands of reserve soldiers reflects the defeat Israel suffered in Gaza, describing the decision UN Security Council Yesterday’s statement regarding expanding the entry of aid and monitoring it described it as “weak and an insufficient step that does not meet the requirements of the catastrophic situation created by the occupation in Gaza.”
He added that the American administration “still confirms its partnership and involvement in the aggression because it worked to empty the resolution of its content and present it in the weak form in which it was issued.”
Hamdan said that the Security Council must oblige the occupation to bring aid into all areas and not submit to Israel’s plans, appreciating the positions of the Arab countries that put forward the draft resolution and tried to improve its wording, as well as the position of Russia, which tried to improve the text of the resolution in a way that alleviates the situation in Gaza, he said.
He held the UN and international institutions – especially the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Refugees (UNRWA) – responsible for what the residents of the Gaza Strip are suffering due to their failure to carry out their duties in response to the demands of the occupation, and called on all institutions to take a decisive stance on what Israel is doing.
The Hamas leader also called on the Arab and Islamic countries to send popular convoys to relief the Gaza Strip and bring the wounded out for treatment, reminding the Arab and Muslim leaders that the Palestinians are waiting for the implementation of the decision to bring in aid that was taken at the Riyadh summit.
Hamdan reiterated the role of the United Nations in protecting schools and institutions in which residents take refuge, and said that the occupation is carrying out field executions, the most recent of which happened to the Anan family in Gaza City.
He concluded his statements by saying that more than 8,000 detainees are being killed and abused in detention camps, calling on international institutions to investigate their conditions and investigate field killings committed by Israel in preparation for bringing those responsible to justice.
