The American president said joe biden -Thursday- American Judith Weinstein – who was believed to be detained in Gaza – was killed in the attack last October 7 launched by the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
The Nir Oz community in southern Israel announced in a statement – Thursday – that Israeli-American Judith Weinstein was injured during the attack on October 7, and her death has now been allowed to be announced, as she died from her wounds.
Weinstein was 70 years old, and Biden said last week that her husband, Gadi Hagai (73 years old), was also killed on the same day, and Agence France-Presse said that their bodies were still in the Gaza Strip.
Biden pledged to continue efforts to release other prisoners who are still being held by Hamas.
A battle ensued Al-Aqsa flood – Which was launched by the Palestinian resistance on October 7th against a number of Israeli settlements in Gaza cover– About 1,400 Israelis were killed – about a third of them soldiers – and about 250 others were captured, more than half of whom are still detained in the Gaza Strip.
Since that date, Israel has waged a war on the Gaza Strip that has resulted, to date, in the death of 21,320 martyrs and 55,603 injured, in addition to massive destruction in residential neighborhoods, vital facilities, and hospitals.
