The Russian air defense announced the interception of 6 missiles over the Belgorod region, which has been subjected to repeated strikes since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine nearly two years ago.
The Russian border regions with Ukraine have witnessed repeated attacks since the outbreak of the war. But Belgorod was particularly hard hit following a large-scale Russian bombing of Ukraine last week.
