The Israeli occupation army announced – yesterday, Thursday – that 3 Israelis who have been missing since the attack of last October 7 are among those detained by the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip.
Army spokesman Daniel Hagari told reporters, “Three citizens who were missing are currently considered among the hostages, and their families have been informed of the matter.”
This announcement brings the number of Israelis detained by the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip since the attack last October to 132 people, based on numbers issued by Israeli officials.
On October 7, 2023, the Palestinian resistance, led by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), carried out an attack on military sites and settlements around the Gaza Strip, during which about 240 Israelis were detained, 100 of whom were later released, pursuant to an exchange deal with the occupation in which dozens of Palestinian prisoners were released from its prisons. .
