Villarreal’s match in the Spanish Cup against Unionistas de Salamanca – yesterday, Sunday – was not completed at the beginning of extra time due to a power outage, causing complete darkness to descend on the stadium.
The team, coming from the third division, succeeded in achieving a 1-1 draw at the end of regular time in the match in front of about 6,000 spectators, forcing an extension.

Sevilla qualified

The day before yesterday, Saturday, both defending champions Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid also qualified for the cup final.
