Total darkness fell at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, after the hospital’s main electricity generator stopped due to running out of fuel, which endangers the lives of patients, especially premature babies.
A member of the hospital’s medical team said that the power outage makes us completely unable to provide medical services to patients, especially children, noting that Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital is the only one still operating in the Central Governorate.
