Abdullah Yousef, the Bahrain striker, scored the only goal of the match in the 34th minute of the match, following a counter-attack carried out brilliantly by the team. The ball reached Yousef in a clear isolation from the middle of the field, and he advanced and shot the ball from outside the penalty area into the net.

The Bahrain national team raised its score to 6 points at the top of Group E, one point ahead of South Korea, which qualified for the round of 16 in second place.
While the Jordanian national team – third in the standings – qualifies with 4 points as third in Group Five.
