Military and strategic expert, Colonel Hatem Al-Falahi, believes – in an analysis of the military scene in Gaza – that the Palestinian resistance in… Gaza strip It was very successful in confronting the Israeli occupation army and exhausting it throughout the 10 months of war.
This came in the context of Colonel Al-Falahi's comment on the field developments in Gaza, in light of the Israeli bombing of the central and northern areas of the Strip, and evacuation orders for residents and displaced persons in Beit Hanoun And other areas in the northern Gaza Strip.
The military and strategic expert said that the resistance, through its ongoing operations in various areas of Gaza, confirms that it has the ability to plan and manage operations through a command and control system, and that it does not fight randomly but rather through plans drawn up by field commanders.
He added that the resistance is conducting successful defensive battles based on the element of surprise, through booby-trapping, ambushes, sniping and other tactics that lead to the exhaustion of the occupation army, which is trying in vain to achieve some accomplishments.
Regarding the so-called “lone wolves”, Colonel Al-Falahi ruled out the possibility that the occupation army would be able to eliminate them, because this action is part of the Palestinian resistance strategy. The occupation cannot deal with a fighter who places a Shawaaz bomb under an Israeli tank and withdraws, or when he carries out a sniping operation alone and kills soldiers.
He said that “lone wolves” are used to working in a decentralized manner, and there is no fixed place for them, but rather they move according to the situation and according to the possibilities and capabilities.
And”Lone wolvesThey are individuals who carry out attacks alone without any clear connection to an organization. This description also applies to individual attacks carried out by small groups of two to five people at most.
In contrast, Colonel Al-Falahi confirms that Israel did not expect the battle to continue for this long period of time, extending for 10 months, and did not expect the Palestinian resistance factions to hold out.
He pointed out that Israel is now exhausted, and its presence in the two axes Netzarim In Gaza andPhiladelphia On the border with Egypt and in the buffer zone, it confirms that it has not been able, for 10 months, to achieve the goals of the war for which the military operation in the Gaza Strip was launched.
Israel is unable to achieve its war goals despite its use of bombing, destruction, random strikes, and killing of civilians, and despite the great American and Western support for it throughout the war.
Colonel Al-Falahi spoke about the losses and the great depletion suffered by the occupation army, recalling what was reported by the newspaper “Yedioth Ahronoth” that no less than 10 thousand Israeli soldiers were killed or wounded during the long months of fighting in the Gaza Strip.
He concluded that the occupation army, which was blacklisted, suffers from a real problem in the Palestinian sector and lacks a vision for dealing with the day after the war.
