Pop’s new ‘it’ girl is facing mounting plastic surgery rumors after sporting what some are calling an enhanced appearance in her new music video.
Sabrina Carpenter, 25, was catapulted into the spotlight with her ‘song of the summer’ Espresso.
But now plastic surgeons are saying they can see subtle changes between her looks today and when she first appeared in the public eye in 2014.
Tracking her face through the years, plastic surgeon Dr Gary Linkov believes she may have started getting work done in 2019 — when she was just 20 years old.
The plastic surgeon, who stresses he has never seen Carpenter as a patient, estimates she has spent more than $40,000 on various cosmetic procedures to boost her beauty.

Ms Carpenter has been in the spotlight since 2014, when she was just 14 years old — after she was featured in Disney’s series Girl Meets World.
But as she has grown in popularity, so to have rumors of procedures she’s supposedly undergone to change her appearance.
Carpenter herself is yet to comment on any of the speculation about her suspected surgeries and her reps did not respond to DailyMail.com’s request for comment.
Dr Linkov, who is based in New York City, reviewed photos of the star from 2013 through 2024 before delivering his assessment in a YouTube video.
He suggested the star is a fan of lip filler, and has likely been receiving small injections for years — aiming to achieve an arched upper lip, which is rare naturally.
Fillers are gel-like substances that are injected under the skin to give them a fuller appearance and degrade over time.
Dr Linkov said in the clip: ‘In 2019 at the age of 20, Sabrina seems to be using make-up to highlight certain aspects of her face.
‘But I also see some signs here of the potential introduction of lip filler, both to the upper lip and to the lower lip, to add some hydration and volume.
‘And in 2024 at the age of 25, when I look at Sabrina’s lips, to me the upper lip looks more arched — and that is probably due to the continued use of filler.
‘This was likely done with small, tasteful, amounts of filler over years to create this appearance.
‘This is not something that you just go in, get one syringe of filler or two syringes of filler at one time and call it a day. This is something that’s done gradually, with a very calculated approach.’

NOSE JOB: These pictures, from 2016 (left) and 2023 (right), suggest Sabrina Carpenter may have had surgery to the tip of her nose to alter its appearance
Dr Linkov estimated she had spent $10,000 on lip filler over the course of five years, based on the industry average and the required dosing.
In 2021, at the age of 22, Dr Linkov suggested the singer may have started using cheek filler as he observed more volume toward the outsides of her cheeks compared to photos from 2017 where the apples of her cheeks seem to have more fullness.
London-based aesthetic plastic surgeon Dr Jonny Betteridge agreed.
Speaking in a TikTok video, he said: ‘She now has a more heart-shaped appearance to her face, often achieved by using dermal fillers to the cheekbones and chin.’
Despite its popularity, surgeons have previously suggested that using filler at a young age carries multiple risks, including having stretched skin that sags earlier than normal.
Patients who use filler at a younger age may end up needing other procedures like a facelift sooner than others.
Adding to possible procedures, Dr Linkov also suggested the star may have had subtle work done to shave down the tip of her nose and give it a thinner appearance.
Comparing photos of her from 2015 and 2023, he pointed out the bridge — the upper, bony part, of the nose — appeared to be the same size.
But the tip of the nose, he said, appeared to be much narrower.
‘In 2023 at the age of 24, I am seeing some signs of a potential tip rhinoplasty [nose job],’ he said.
‘Many celebrities will actually leave some convexity to their nasal bridge and instead just get their tip more refined.
‘That’s harder to spot than when the whole nose is re-done. These results are less obvious.’
For a tip rhinoplasty, surgeons re-shape the tip of the nose — often by removing some cartilage and soft tissue.
But it does carry the risk of complications, including potential tip asymmetry or having too much tissue removed — leaving it appearing overly pinched.
Dr Linkov estimated the rhinoplasty had cost her about $20,000.
While a popular procedure among both the rich and famous and everyday Americans, Dr Linkov did not suggest Carpenter had received any Botox.
Speculating about her appearance online, one viewer wrote on X: ‘No shade because I don’t know like, but has Sabrina Carpenter had work done? Because I don’t know if it’s my face blindness, but my brain cannot rationalize this as the same person [as in 2016].’
A second added on YouTube: ‘It’s crazy how we live in a world where young people who are already considered good looking naturally feel the need to get plastic surgery and artificial enhancements.’
And a third said: ‘Whoever did her surgery is an expert, because I thought it was make-up all along.’
Others have come out in defense of the star, however, saying that changes to her face are just from aging and make up.
