Most eyes are on the incredible display of athleticism at the Paris Olympics but it’s still hard to miss the impeccable wardrobes of the BBC presenters.
The likes of Gabby Logan, Rebecca Adlington and Dames Denise Lewis and Jessica Ennis-Hill have impressed viewers with their elegant and stylish displays.
So much so, outfits sported by the BBC pundits have almost sold out after making an appearance at the swimming arena and the Stade de France – and one designer suggested they’d never seen a ‘surge of orders’ quite like it.
Raishma Islam revealed how her namesake line was unprepared for the reaction that Rebecca wearing one of their dresses would have after she wore the ensemble to present the men’s 4×200 swimming relay last week.
She told The Telegraph: ‘We started getting a surge of orders, and wondered if there had been a glitch on the website. She has worn our dresses in the past but we’ve never had this kind of reaction.’

The publication recorded that Wyse sandals and a multicoloured 70s-inspired dress from Boden, all worn by Rebecca during the first week of the Olympics, had all nearly sold out too.
The stylist behind Rebecca’s stylish wardrobe is Martine Alexander, who recently told Hello!: ‘Style is so personal, there’s no right or wrong. It’s about finding what works for you and expanding on that.’
Rebecca’s looks have included a bright pink fruit patterned dress from Kitri and a green and red polka dot frock from L.K. Bennett, a British designer favoured by the Princess of Wales.
The former competitive swimmer has also worn a fun strawberry print dress from Boden, another of Kate’s favourite high street fashion brands.
But it’s not only Rebecca’s style that has been praised online – presenter Gabby Logan, 51, has impressed with her sophisticated looks too.
The star, one of the most popular BBC sports presenters, never leaves preparing her outfits to the last minute and more often than not will reuse pieces she’s previously worn, according to her stylist of two decades, Charlotte Handley-Green.
‘We always start within her wardrobe. We go back and see what we can reuse, it’s really important. Over the years we’ve [accumulated] key pieces that we use again and again’
They prepared for the Olympics coverage two months ago, and only bought one new item to Paris, a mint green Victoria Beckham dress. Re-wears have included a Isabel Marant dress and a Reiss frock.

The fashion choices of Gabby’s presenting colleagues have also wowed, with Dames Denise Lewis (pictured right) and Jessica Ennis-Hill (pictured left) showcasing their elegant looks on screen and on their social media pages
Meanwhile, Jacqui Akrofi, stylist for former sprinter Jeanette Kwakye (pictured), told how she avoided dressing the BBC host in ‘green and similar shades to prevent blending into [a green screen] background’

Olympic gold medalist Denise, 51, has stunned audiences in an array of fashionable outfits – including tailored waistcoats and trousers, from brands such as Holland Cooper, as well as an orange belted dress by Karen Millen.
Jessica, Olympic champion and three-times world champion heptathlete, 38, has opted for playful and colourful designs – including several outfits from French brands.
She’s wowed in a blue knee-length dress, then purple trousers teamed with an orange top, before sporting a striped cardigan paired with a navy skirt.

Busy prints were also a no-go since they may have caused ‘visual distortions on camera’, explained the stylist.
Celebrity stylist Rochelle White told FEMAIL: ‘I feel that the presenters have invested in their looks this time around, and I do think that social media has played a part as it provides extra coverage and they no doubt want to look their best.
‘I also think they could be an element of potential brand deals and partnerships and so they have been strategic in their part. Not only that a lot of the outfits that they have worn are accessible to the masses.
‘With brands like Boden, Holland Cooper (which was popular at Wimbledon this year also), Karen Millen and even Victoria Beckham. Also, Jessica Ennis-Hill has been rocking a lot of French designers to show love to the host.
‘They know that a lot of eyes will be on them and also what and even who they might be wearing, so they have embraced that and unknowingly become style and fashion icons of the Olympics.’
