Hassan Al-Zarqouni, director of the office of the Sigma Conseil Foundation, said that the estimates reached by his organization indicate that Saeed won the presidential elections by 89.2%, with a number of votes amounting to two million 194 thousand and 150 votes.
Al-Zarqouni added that the candidate Al-Ayashi Al-Zamal received a percentage of 6.9% with a number of votes amounting to 169,727 votes, while the candidate Zuhair Al-Maghzawi received a percentage of 3.9% with a number of votes amounting to 95,933 votes.
It is noteworthy that the preliminary results will be announced by the Election Commission tomorrow evening, Monday.
The Tunisian Elections Authority said on Sunday that the turnout rate in the presidential vote reached 27.7% after all voting centers closed, compared to 45% in the first round of the 2019 elections.
This is the lowest participation rate in the presidential elections since the 2011 revolution in the country that was considered the cradle of the so-called “Arab Spring.”
