Brazilian press reports stated that Brazilian star Neymar is in advanced negotiations to acquire a private island on the Brazilian coast.
Ilha do Jabao (Japan Island) is located in the popular Angra dos Reis area on the Brazilian coast.
This paradise island, worth about 10 million euros, attracts the attention of celebrities due to its ideal location and developed infrastructure.
The French website Sporton indicated that the Saudi Al Hilal striker has shown a special interest in the city of Angra dos Reis since 2013, where he already owns a luxurious villa.
The island features luxurious infrastructure, including luxurious suites, private rooms and enormous entertainment spaces, and is ideally located facing the clear sea of the Rio de Janeiro coast.
Before completing the purchase, Neymar and Mohammed Bin Ghatti, a Dubai real estate businessman, rented the island for a few days last October.
This experience allowed them to estimate the assets of the property.

A destination for the rich and famous
Combining tranquility, luxury and proximity to major Brazilian cities, Angra dos Reis has long been a favorite destination for the rich and famous – such as Shakira, Ricky Martin and others – looking to escape the pressures of life.
Neymar announced his return to group training for his Saudi club Al-Hilal, nearly a year after he suffered an injury to the cruciate ligament and meniscus of his left knee during a match for his country’s national team.
Neymar (32 years old) joined Al Hilal in August 2023 with a huge deal worth nearly 100 million euros from Paris Saint-Germain, but he was injured on October 17 during his country’s match against Uruguay in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, which stopped his participation with the club. Al Hilal has only 5 matches.
