On Friday morning, the Israeli army launched two raids on the towns of Al-Duwair and Ansar in southern Lebanon, while bombing Hezbollah Areas in northern Israel, and sirens sounded in a number of cities and towns.
The official Lebanese National News Agency reported that Israeli warplanes launched a raid this morning on the town of Al-Duwair and another on the town of Ansar in southern Lebanon, and this morning the outskirts of the southern towns of Maroun Al-Ras and Yaroun were subjected to intermittent artillery shelling.
At dawn today, an Israeli drone targeted the southern town of Kafr Rumman with a guided missile.
At dawn today, Israeli warplanes and air forces targeted the towns of Ramia, Baraashit, Dibaal, Hadada and Yater in southern Lebanon. They also launched successive raids on the southern town of Majdal Selm, which led to the destruction of the town’s old mosque.
Israeli artillery targeted the towns of Aita Al-Shaab, Al-Dhahira, Al-Bustan, and the outskirts of the city of Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon.
Israeli forces also fired heavy machine guns towards the southern towns of Marwahin and Tarbikha.
Hezbollah is bombing
On the other hand, Lebanese Hezbollah said that it bombed the Zeflon settlement this morning “with a large missile salvo.”
The Israeli Home Front reported that sirens were sounded in Shumira and Zarait in the Western Galilee.
The Home Front said that sirens sounded in Acre, Haifa Bay, and large areas in the Galilee, and sirens sounded in Ras Naqoura “in anticipation of a drone infiltrating from Lebanon.”
Israeli media reported that 3 wounded soldiers were transferred overnight as a result of the clashes in Lebanon to the Ziv Medical Center.
It is noteworthy that the border areas in southern Lebanon have witnessed an exchange of fire between the Israeli army and Hezbollah since October 8, after Israel declared war on Gaza.
On October 1, the Israeli army launched a ground operation in southern Lebanon to attack Hezbollah positions.
