The Alexander brothers have been arrested.
A lawyer representing Oren and Alon confirmed the three brothers were arrested in Miami Wednesday, but did not specify any charges.
A video obtained by The Real Deal showed FBI agents outside of Oren’s Miami Beach home early Wednesday morning, ordering the disgraced broker to come outside. Agents were seen entering the home as authorities executed a search.
Sources told TRD the Miami Dade State Attorney’s Office had been interviewing women with allegations against the brothers in recent months.
An attorney for Tal did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Allegations against the brothers surfaced in June, when TRD first reported two lawsuits filed against Oren and Alon alleging the twin brothers raped two women in New York more than a decade ago.
Tal was named in another lawsuit filed weeks later, accusing him and Alon of raping a woman while Oren watched. Oren has also been named in a fourth lawsuit.
The FBI began investigating allegations against the brothers as early as July, when the Wall Street Journal reported the agency’s child exploitation and sex trafficking task force was speaking with women who allege they were assaulted by one or more of the brothers or witnessed the attacks.
The brothers have denied the allegations.
