Tyrese Gibson praised BTS’ Jungkook but mistakenly tagged the wrong Instagram account.

BTS, the South Korean boy band consisting of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook, made their debut in 2013. Three years later, they skyrocketed to global fame with the release of their album Wings, solidifying their position as one of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. Their underdog journey and genre-blending music struck a unique chord with audiences worldwide. BTS’ meteoric rise not only captured the hearts of millions of fans but also drew admiration from several prominent celebrities who proudly identify as part of their ARMY.
The recent star to join the long list of BTS fans is American actor-singer Tyrese Gibson. On Monday, December 30, the Fast & Furious star took to his Instagram account and shared two pictures of BTS’ youngest member, Jeon Jungkook. In the caption of the post, he wrote, “I didn’t know……. But I know now.:….. Cheers to you on the talent, voice and textures…. @jungkook97.offcial.”
Notably, the 46-year-old actor-singer tagged the wrong Instagram account. Back in 2023, the Golden maknae of the septet decided to delete his account on the social media app as he didn’t use the platform much. However, a year later, he made his comeback on Instagram when he decided to create an account for his pet dog Bam. Despite the minor mistake on Tyrese’s part, fans were elated to see Jungkook’s ever-growing popularity as a global star. Soon after the post, the fans flooded the comments section appreciating Tyrese’s acknowledgement.

Speaking of Jungkook, the 27-year-old BTS member is currently completing his mandatory military service. He is scheduled to be discharged by the first half of 2025. Right before he enlisted in the military, Jungkook made his solo debut with the single Seven and also released his first solo album, Golden, comprising 11 songs.
