It — or rather, he — has returned.
Prime Video’s full-length trailer for Reacher season 3, released Wednesday, showcases Alan Ritchson’s buff titular character in peak action-hero form—arm wrestling, smashing heads through glass, sprinting through dark woods, fleeing an exploding boat, and pulling off even more jaw-dropping moves.
Catch a peek of the formidable retired military police officer’s escapades alongside pal Frances Neagley (Maria Sten) in the full trailer below.
And about the arm wrestling. That’s what Reacher challenges the ginormous new character Paulie, played by real-life weightlifter Olivier Richters, to do after he bests the hulking Reacher while bench pressing at the gym. The accomplishment is no big deal for him, but it’s a blow for Reacher, who’s usually the biggest guy in any room.
Paulie works with Zachary Beck, a new character played by Anthony Michael Hall, who wants Reacher to work for him.
This latest batch of episodes, which debuts next month, is based on the seventh book in author Lee Childs’ series about Jack Reacher, Persuader. The story finds the protagonist going undercover “to rescue an undercover DEA informant whose time is running out,” per the official description.

Dire as the situation is, Reacher maintains his taking-care-of-business vibe — and his business is kicking butt.
Asked if he recognizes one man from his past, Reacher answers flatly, “I thought I killed him. Years ago.”

Afterward, Reacher explains that the man didn’t do anything to him. However, he silently recalls that the man in a photo hurt someone else, so he has to find justice.
The first three episodes of season 3 premiere on Feb. 20 and remaining episodes drop every Thursday on Prime Video. The series has already been renewed for a fourth season that’s set to film this year.
