USA Network has announced that “Everything On The Menu with Braun Strowman,” a new series starring the former WWE wrestler, will premiere with back-to-back episodes on October 24. The show follows Strowman as he explores America’s culinary scene, from greasy spoons to Michelin-starred restaurants. During an eight-city tour of Fort Worth, Washington D.C., Orlando, Las Vegas, Chicago, Milwaukee, New Orleans, and Tampa, Strowman will select his favorite dish from each location. The series is produced by WWE Studios and Bright North Studios.
Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for “The Last Frontier,” a new drama series from co-creators Jon Bokenkamp and Richard D’Ovidio. The 10-episode series, which stars and is executive produced by Jason Clarke, will debut with its first two episodes on October 10, followed by new episodes weekly until December 5. The show centers on Frank Remnick (Clarke), the lone U.S. Marshal in a remote Alaskan jurisdiction that is thrown into chaos when a prison transport plane crashes, releasing dozens of violent inmates. As he works to protect his town, Remnick begins to suspect the crash was part of a larger, more sinister plan. The cast also includes Dominic Cooper, Haley Bennett, Simone Kessell, and Alfre Woodard.
A trailer has also been released for “The Sisters Grimm,” an animated fantasy adventure series from Apple TV+ set to premiere globally on October 3. Based on the bestselling book series by Michael Buckley, the six-episode series follows two sisters, descendants of the Brothers Grimm, as they solve mysteries in a town populated by fairy tale characters while searching for their missing parents. The voice cast is led by Ariel Winter, Leah Newman, Laraine Newman, Abubakar Salim, Billy Harris, and Harry Trevaldwyn. The series was developed by showrunner Amy Higgins and Erica Rothschild, with animation produced by Titmouse.
Netflix has unveiled the first trailer for “Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch,” an eight-episode animated series premiering on October 14. As the first television adaptation of the popular video game franchise, the series follows elite agent Sam Fisher, who is drawn back into service to help a wounded young operative. Liev Schreiber voices Fisher, alongside Kirby Howell-Baptiste as Zinnia Mckenna. The series is written by “John Wick” creator Derek Kolstad and produced by Ubisoft Film & Television, with animation by Sun Creature and Fost.
ESPN will premiere its new original docuseries, “Believers: Boston Red Sox,” on September 26, available on the ESPN App for subscribers. Directed by Gotham Chopra and Lauren Fisher, the three-part series chronicles the Boston Red Sox’s 86-year championship drought and the unwavering loyalty of their fanbase, culminating in the team’s historic 2004 postseason run. The series features appearances by Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Bill Burr, and Uzo Aduba, as well as interviews with members of the 2004 roster, including David Ortiz and Curt Schilling. Affleck also serves as an executive producer for the project from Religion of Sports and Artists Equity.
Acorn TV is launching “An Autumn to Die For,” a season-long showcase of mystery programming, beginning September 22. The event will feature new series like “Murder Before Evensong,” Season 2 of “The Light in the Hall,” and “The Gone.” Highlighting the lineup is the return of the full collection of Agatha Christie series and films after a five-year absence, starting with “Agatha Christie’s Poirot: The Early Cases.” A new Christie mystery will be added to the service every Monday throughout the fall.
The comedy special “Samantha Hale: Horror Nerd” will premiere on September 23 on Amazon, Apple TV, Google Play, and other streaming services. The autobiographical show follows Hale as she explores the intersection of horror culture and daily life, sharing stories from her childhood as the granddaughter of actor Alan Hale, Jr. (“Gilligan’s Island”) and great-granddaughter of Alan Hale, Sr. (“The Adventures of Robin Hood”). The special is a collaboration between Comedy Dynamics and Water’s End Productions.
Beginning this week, Tubi will stream “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” with new episodes from the current fourth season available for free on the platform the day after their broadcast premiere. A large selection of episodes from Season 3 is also currently available. The Emmy-winning talk show is produced by JHUD Productions and Telepictures and is distributed by Warner Bros. Samsung TV Plus has launched Billboard TV, an exclusive channel featuring continuous content from the music and entertainment brand. Viewers can access Billboard News updates, original interviews, red carpet coverage, and live concert specials. The channel’s first livestream event, an extended edition of “Billboard Unfiltered,” will premiere this fall and will feature artists and creators debating the 2025 year-end No. 1 songs across key charts. Billboard TV is available exclusively on the Samsung TV Plus service.
To celebrate its 100th anniversary, the Appalachian Trail Conservancy has partnered with comedian Kevin Nealon to launch a campaign to redefine the phrase “take a hike.” The initiative calls on major dictionary publishers to update the definition to “a friendly invitation to reset, recharge, and reconnect with the outdoors.” Citing the growing importance of mental wellness, the conservancy aims to highlight the benefits of nature as an accessible way to support well-being and is encouraging the public to sign a petition to support the cause.
