In their Asia Cup 2025 Super 4 clash, India won the toss and elected to bowl first against arch-rivals Pakistan.
Pakistan announced two changes to their lineup, bringing in Hussain Talat and Faheem Ashraf to replace Hasan Nawaz and Khushdil Shah.
Talat, an experienced batter from Lahore, has represented Pakistan in four ODIs and 19 T20Is since his international debut against the West Indies in 2018.
In domestic cricket, he has played 73 First-Class, 110 List-A, and 198 T20 matches. His T20 career includes 3,985 runs at an average of 30.66 and a strike rate of 125.72. Talat replaces Hasan Nawaz, who managed just 17 runs in three matches during the tournament.
