Taylor Swift is expected to be in attendance for the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, just one day after celebrating the wedding of close friend Selena Gomez in California.
Following Gomez’s wedding to Benny Blanco in Santa Barbara on Saturday, reports indicate that Swift flew to Kansas City late last night to support her fiancé, Travis Kelce. The game is scheduled for a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff at Arrowhead Stadium.
Swift’s potential appearance aligns with her recent trend of primarily attending Kelce’s home games. While she was a frequent spectator at both home and away games during the first year of their two-year relationship, her attendance at road games has become rare. Swift and Kelce, who reportedly became engaged last month, have navigated increasing security challenges.
Citing security as a primary factor, Swift has not attended any away games this season, including the Chiefs’ season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers in São Paulo, Brazil. A source explained that the decision to skip the game in Brazil was based on “the travel and the cost and most importantly the security.” The 13-hour flight would have required a significant security detail to be arranged days in advance, a logistical and financial challenge deemed too great for a single game.
So far this season, Swift’s only other appearance was at the Chiefs’ September 14 home game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
