The Indianapolis Colts have released their unofficial depth chart for their Week 5 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, revealing several adjustments driven by recent roster moves, injuries, and performance evaluations.
On offense, the wide receiver corps could see the return of Alec Pierce, which would solidify the team’s top three options. However, coach Shane Steichen remained non-committal about rookie Adonai Mitchell’s playing time. At running back, Tyler Goodson’s appearance on the injury report creates uncertainty. If he is unavailable, Ulysses Bentley could be elevated from the practice squad. The offensive line may also receive a significant boost with the potential return of right guard Matt Goncalves, who has been excellent in pass protection this season.

On defense, the Colts continue to search for consistency at the WILL linebacker position. Joe Bachie is listed as the starter next to Zaire Franklin but is expected to continue sharing snaps with Chad Muma and Austin Ajiake. At defensive end, rookie JT Tuimoloau appears headed for a developmental season, having played just nine snaps in his second active game. Meanwhile, the cornerback position is particularly thin following the retirement of Xavien Howard. Mekhi Blackmon is the likely frontrunner to absorb those snaps, and Mike Hilton is a strong candidate to be elevated from the practice squad.
