The event, held at Etihad Arena on Yas Island, marks the fourth year of NBA games in the United Arab Emirates and is part of the league’s slate of seven international contests this season.
Ahead of their on-court showdown, players and staff from both teams have been immersing themselves in the local culture and enjoying various activities throughout the city.
### Arrival in Abu Dhabi
Upon landing, the Knicks and 76ers were met with a traditional welcome that included local singers and refreshments. Several players, including New York’s Landry Shamet and Philadelphia’s Tyrese Maxey and Kelly Oubre Jr., also had the opportunity to hold a falcon, a symbol of Emirati heritage.
### Knicks Experience the Desert
Members of the Knicks organization, including team legend Patrick Ewing and forward OG Anunoby, took a trip into the desert to ride camels. Guard Josh Hart also posed with a falcon during the excursion.

The 76ers team gathered for a memorable photo at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. Named after the UAE’s founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the architectural marvel provided a stunning backdrop.

Philadelphia head coach Nick Nurse and guard Kyle Lowry took some time away from the basketball court to work on their golf swings on the local greens.
