The body of a 57-year-old Las Vegas woman was discovered inside a cardboard box in a remote desert area east of Kingman, Arizona, on September 5.
The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to a suspicious package in a wash near Windmill Ranch Road by a person who believed it contained human remains. Another witness reported seeing an unidentified truck with its trunk open in the area the previous night.
Using fingerprints, investigators identified the victim as Carolyn Ann Bosher. Detectives are collaborating with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and learned that Bosher had been arrested on indecent exposure charges six days before her body was found.
Authorities stated that evidence at the scene suggests Bosher was killed at a different location. The investigation remains ongoing.
