Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix is celebrating a milestone both on and off the field. On Friday, he and his wife, Izzy Nix, announced they are expecting their first child in a joint Instagram post captioned, “Nix party of 3!!!”
The couple married in July 2022 after meeting as students at Auburn University. Nix played three seasons for Auburn before transferring to the University of Oregon, where he became a standout quarterback.
The personal news comes as Nix guides the Broncos on a two-game winning streak. Through five games this season, he has thrown for 1,103 yards and eight touchdowns. His performance was pivotal in Denver’s Week 5 victory over the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, where he led the team to an 18-point fourth quarter, finishing the game with 242 passing yards and a touchdown.
The Broncos (3-2) will look to continue their momentum in Week 6 against the winless New York Jets.
